AIRPORTS: (BGI) Grantley Adams International Airport is 30 mins drive from Bridgetown, the capital.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: A valid passport is generally required. Citizens of the US or Canada traveling direct from those countries to Barbados may be admitted without a passport for a period not exceeding 3 mths. Photo identification, a birth certificate and a valid return ticket must be produced. Visas are required for citizens of Eastern European countries, The Peoples Republic of China, Taiwan, India, Pakistan, the non-Commonwealth countries of Africa and all South American countries except Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela. Those who think they might need a Visa should check with Immigration in Barbados.
